Greinke to the brewcrew

So I guess 7 years of losing in KC has taken it's toll on Zack Greinke. Reports today say he is getting granted his request to be traded and he's landing in Milwaulkee for a couple prospects and some cash. Hope he finds what he is looking for up there.

Man crush on A-Gon

So Theo Epstein's man crush on the Padre first baseman finally comes to fruition.... he has only coveted the poor guy for the last 3 years. You can get off his jock now Theo.

I know that the Nats have to overpay to get free agent talent to even look in their direction but $126mil for Werth? Come on

New deal for the Captain

So word on the street is that the Yankees and Derek Jeter have agreed to a three year deal with a player option for a fourth. The first part of the contract is three years for fifty one million.

Also being bandied about is that Mo Rivera has worked out a two year deal worth thirty million.

I wont cry about either deal although coming off last year the Jeter deal is a bit high for my liking.

Bowman Platinum out early?

A couple places on the interwebs reported that retail packs of '10 Bowman Platinum are showing up in large common goods stores. I will look when I'm out and about this weekend. Although I wouldn't be surprised if hobby packs don't come out until January-ish.
